Special needs kitty

Hi everyone! i am about to adopt a kitty who had a ruptured retina and lost her eye. She's very sweet and I want her to be as comfortable as possible when I bring her home. She still has full use of her right eye but can be timid. I will be keeping her indoors as well as getting her a reflective breakaway collar and microchip if she ever gets out.

Hi! Don't worry about your baby! But do keep her safe... My hubs & I adopted a sweet baby we had fostered who lost his eye due to an ulcerated cornea. He never knew the difference, but we NEVER let him go outside (he never asked either)... If you intend to allow her to go out you may want to harness & leash train her so that she can go out WITH you... Handicapped babies do just fine, but they do know that they have a disadvantage sometimes, so don't be surprised if she is a little more skiddish with strangers or 'new' friends than you would have expected. Be patient with her & she will return the love 10-fold!

She's adorable! I had a one-eyed foster cat years ago, and he got around just fine. She will do great!
