Does anyone have a generic response to applications that come in online they would let me take a look at?

We aren't able to respond to every application and typically only respond to those we want to schedule a meet and greet with and I would love everyone who applies to get a response automatically that pretty much says exactly that.

This is our response: Thank you to all that applied to adopt from the Clark County Humane Society. Adoption interest in incredibly high right now which is wonderful for the dogs and puppies in the shelter but it makes it difficult for us to get back to everyone quickly. We are continuously reviewing applications and will be in touch ASAP if your application was selected. Please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder as we will email the chosen parties to set up a time to meet the animal. We wish you all luck as you search for a pet!

Here is our auto response to receiving adoption applications via our animal management software, Shelterluv.

Thank you for submitting an adoption application to the Potter League for Animals. You are receiving this as an automated response.

This is only the beginning of your journey to finding a new family friend. Your application will be placed on file but it is up to YOU to follow up with us regarding your application.

Currently, due to this ever evolving situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) adoptions are being conducted by appointment only. We ask for your patience as we do our best to continue to provide essential services to our community and ask that you please call us at 401.846.8276 at your earliest convenience and request to speak with an adoption counselor to confirm your interest in adopting a pet.

Please visit our website at to view of our list of available animals.
We look forward to working with you to find the right pet for your lifestyle. Thank you for thinking of adoption with the Potter League.
